FAQs

Certainly! You can keep SOME of the fish you catch for personal consumption. At GoBoating, we prioritize a catch-and-release approach but understand that some fish may need to be harvested due to injuries sustained during the fight. We use non-invasive “barbless” hooks whenever possible to minimize harm, ensuring compliance with regulations while preferring to see fish returned to the water whenever feasible.
Availability of toilets varies among our boats. Please inquire with one of our representatives regarding this amenity.
Standard fishing charters focus on deep-sea fishing with bait near rock formations, ideal for families and catching smaller fish. Game fishing charters, on the other hand, emphasize sport fishing techniques such as jigging, popping, and trolling to target larger predators.
Seasickness can occur, but most cases are manageable onboard. In shared trips, guests rest on the boat until returning to shore at trip’s end, with exceptions made if close to port for drop-off. Private charters offer flexibility: you can choose to continue or end the trip early due to illness, with no refund of the trip fee.
Your safety is our priority. We’ll update you on weather conditions and, if the captain cancels the trip, we’ll reschedule or issue a refund of your deposit if rescheduling isn’t possible.
